This Privacy Policy applies to all personal information: (i) collected by Corporate Connection App (ABN: 93 171 192 452) via the signup form on this website (Corporate Connection App) (Form) or disclosed by you to us; and (ii) any publicly available personal information located on https://www.linkedin.com.
The purpose of Corporate Connection App is to organise face-to-face, one-on-one catchups with professionals so that they can communicate and network with each other online and in person (Purpose).
1. What information do we collect?
The kind of Personal Information that we collect from you will depend on how you use the Form, what you disclose to us, and any publicly available personal information located on https://www.linkedin.com. The Personal Information which we collect and hold about you may include:
Your name;
Your job title;
Your email address;
Your mobile number;
Your current and previous employers;
Your profession;
Your job title;
Your industry;
Your LinkedIn profile;
Any content or information available on your LinkedIn profile;
Your work location; and
Your area of work.

(a) We may collect Personal Information from you: (i) if it is publicly available on https://www.linkedin.com; or (ii) whenever you input such information into the Form, related app or provide it to us in any other way.
(b) Where reasonable and practicable we collect your Personal Information from you only. However, sometimes we may be given information from a third party, in cases like this we will take steps to make you aware of the information that was provided by a third party.
4. Purpose of collection
(a) We collect Personal Information to provide you with the best service experience possible, to facilitate and enable the Purpose, and to keep in touch with you about developments in our business. We may disclose Personal Information we collect to provide you with our services, to respond and fulfill your requests, as otherwise directed or consented to by you, and with other users of Corporate Connection App. For example, if you use our services, you may be making your Personal Information available to other users and your Personal Information may be disclosed to one or more users to achieve the Purpose. We may disclose your Personal Information we collect to third-party service providers which assist us in operating our website and services (such as MailerLite, SMS Broadcast, and GoDaddy), including providers that process and transmit form submissions on our behalf (such as Formspree).
(b) By using the Form, you consent to the receipt of direct marketing material. We will only use your Personal Information for this purpose if we have collected such information directly from you, and if it is material of a type which you would reasonably expect to receive from us. We do not use sensitive Personal Information in direct marketing activity. (c) By using the Form, you consent to the receipt of SMS messages and/or emails containing reminders of upcoming catchups, reminders of round submission deadlines, or any other information relevant to the Purpose or the Corporate Connection App.
5. Security, Access and correction
(a) We store your Personal Information in a way that reasonably protects it from unauthorised access, misuse, modification or disclosure. When we no longer require your Personal Information for the purpose for which we obtained it, we will take reasonable steps to destroy and anonymise or de-identify it. Most of the Personal Information that is stored in our client files and records will be kept for a maximum of 7 years.
(b) The Australian Privacy Principles:
(i) permit you to obtain access to the Personal Information we hold about you in certain circumstances (Australian Privacy Principle 12); and
(ii) allow you to correct inaccurate Personal Information subject to certain exceptions (Australian Privacy Principle 13).

Your Personal Information may be transferred to recipients located overseas. In these circumstances, we do not require the overseas recipients to comply with the Australian Privacy Principles and we will not be liable for a breach of the Australian Privacy Principles if your Personal Information is mishandled.
